Sooo, I see the layout has not changed much for the New Death Star.... Despite having served on the last battle-station, I'm still a little confused about how this place works. You've got two sections for stories. One is the 'Roleplay In Planets'. The other is 'Story Plots'. What is the difference between the two? I understand there is a setting and a plot that this forum is based around, but how do these two threads work under that setting and plot. Does one roleplays in one thread affect another roleplay in a different thread? It's stuff like that I don't quite understand.

Roleplay in Planets is for anything outside of the plot, anything that will not further the plot in any way, shape, or form. Like... I'm stealing Rock and Ophelia here for a moment, but, their love roleplays can't really forward the plot.
Story plots are the roleplays that will further the plot in some, way, shape, or form. Like... when the movement of Evolve gets going, which is when Master gets his ass on to post, it'll go under story plots.
That explain at all?

I believe so. I guess the best way to learn is to just start doing it.

Actually no, now that I think of it. How does one add to the plot? Do we just go off starting a thread in the 'Plot' section? If I wanted to start a story to further the plot, would I have to ask permission first? Will there be any sort of timeline we must adhere to, and a record of important events within the 'Plot'? I'm a details kind of guy, sorry.

Okay, well, you have the crazy roleplay of something boring like finding your long lost relative or something. Or your character is on a hunt, or something crazy happens on freakin' Ilum and it is necessary to check it out and it turns out there are a bunch of banthas trapped on the ice planet. Things like these will not really effect the plot, except save the hunt on. You could be trying to hunt Raynia and crap.
The Story Plot roleplays are those that further it. Like I said, when movement begins. Or an assassination roleplay on one of the members of Evolve, or maybe of the rebellion occuring more and more within the Jedi. Those are crucial points.
No, permission is not needed. And I will be overseeing more and more of the plot stories. I will move something if I deem it not story plot moving.
Once more of the roleplay Master and I have done, I will set up the outcomes of the roleplay and how it reflects the plot. Somewhere, sometime, when it comes. I will set it up maybe in one of those boxes that Alex has made for me. (Thanks Alex!)
Details people. Pft! You're all simple.
