"Ranks are foolish, unless it is the Rule of Two," she hissed at him. Her voice lowered when she spoke of the Rule of Two. It was almost forbidden to speak of the centures upon centuries old law of the Sith.
"Ranks here are stupid, they mean nothing. Out. Of. My. Way." Her words her pronounced with emphasis and said slowly, as if talking to a naive child. She shut down the mind message midway with ease. There would be no way to manipulate her. No way to defeat her. She cared not if he believed her leader of Evolve or not. For now, she would play as she knew nothing.
"If you think I give a damn what you do for me, think again. If you want to use ranks, fine, we can use ranks," contradiction, all part of the confusing babble. "You may be a lord, but my master is the apprentice of Mistress Veit. MY lord will be second in line. Out of this temple, there are three who hold the greatest authority: Veit, my master, and I. You? Ha, you are but one of the many Sith who roam the hallways perhaps looking for a way to escape some hellhole you have found yourself in."
So, let's slow this down a bit. She's defending her master and her mistress, the ones she secretly dispised from the rest of the temple. He could possibly know this. It would make the wheels in his sluggish brain turn. The best outcome? He would have second thoughts she truly is leader of some rebellion. Second best? He would leave her be. The worst? Well, she'd just have to find a weak link in his brain and rip the shards he knows of Evolve and have him start all over from the last thing he remembers.

"ahhh...finaly we are getting somewere..."--he smiles slightly--"Yes, I know all this...and Jarai..you are an apprentice, and as I told you, I detest this temple. I detest this order. I have seen my ancestor's holocron's, and I yearn for when we can once again be as Venta was....back to the day's when we had no rule's...and had one goal..becoming the master, and destroying all those that stand against us!!"
"and as for your master...and the Mistress....I respect them as sith...but to me..they are nothing more than an obstickle..and as for your denial, I have read the minds of many..and all them point to you"--the moment the link had been severed, he brought his mental barriars up..they were strong as dura-steel..metiforicly speaking ofcourse--"if you wish to view the original..you'll know were to find me...and just to let you one last thing...The original does have one thing this one doesnt...clues to the other holocrosn location's"--he goes to turn, but then is right in, Jarai's face, holding her by both hands--"go ahead..apprentice...try and breach my mind..try it...I can't breach your's, but I can still sense you intentions..you are calculating the odd's, as to wether or not you could do it before I could kill you....I dont want you dead, you and I want the same thing..to be free of the rule's..be free of restrictions....I may act as if I follow these rule's...I don't...I merely pretend...decieot is one of our chief precepts..or atleast it was in the day's of, Darth Sidious."

"You are an arrogant fool!" she spat at him through a haywire mind, yet again. Her mind was completely sealed from pyschological attacks, and Jarai was a very hard person to read. Unless she was pissed. Then it was easy to tell she was pissed. But, between happy and any other feelings in between.
"It is Jarai to you, space worm," she snarled, amber eyes the flames of an internal fire. "I don't even know why you find it necessary to speak!" Her bristling nature lowered a key. "As it only gives me more knowledge of you and more ways to demean you. Arrogance and over confidence makes you believe you are a god. That will one day be the death of you, as some one more powerful is going to hand your head back to you on a platter."
The battle of words. Two points, Jarai. Arrogent fool, zero.
But Jarai was secretly celebrating her intellect. Not everything would be on the copy of a holocron. Jarai wasn't THAT stupid, Wodahs.
But she was really, truly, absolutely, possitively dreading now was he had the holocron with the coordinates to wear the tomb of Darth Semtri's holocron was. The idiot was going to make her want to seek him out and to aid him. And him aid her. In return, he wanted a spot in Evolve. Inwardly, she growled again. That ticked her off close to white rage. It didn't help he was breathing on her face either.
Why in the galaxy did he have to have a pretty face?

He let's her go.Smiling.--"you are truly a sith...and no, I am not a god...there are no god's. Some may clame to be...but they are not. And one more thing, I am only testing you. And you were doing so well...until now...you are starting to loose controll, and your temper..never allow that to happen"--he smile's again, and gently runs a single hand down the side of her face..wondering how she would react. Everything he had done, and is still doing is designed to be one thing.A test..to see if she is truly worthy of learning his ancestor's secrets.
"I am Ichigo Skywalker...Decendent of Semtri, and Ichigo Kurisaki. I am no fool....arrogant..yes, all sith, and jedi are.I have deleted all records of the others from the records...only through me can you find her tomb"--he grins..he know's he had just hit it on the head--"that is were her most important holocrans is hidden...so it is only logical you want to find it.....oh..and I will folow your order's If I am allowed to join..if not....I will simply kill your member's off...one by one..until only you three remain

"I think you are stupid to think I am losing my temper. I have a right to be pissed at you. Any Sith--" His hand delicately slid down her face. On contact with the smooth motion, Jarai's head snapped to the side as she took a step. Her eyebrows knitted in fury, she glanced between his hand and his face, not quite sure what he was doing.
"Cut that out. That helps you none." He had touched me. More than once. And it had been only fifteen minutes. No one every so much as brushed her cloak. So, not only was the feeling a bit surprising, it triggered another hot surge. Voilet lightning arched over her fingertips. Jarai didn't plan to hurt him at this point, but the anger had to be released one way or another.
The flaring glare was matching his once more. "Killing Evolve will make this temple survive longer," she hissed, low under her breath for his ears to hear. She switched something, finally (she had been tinkering with his mind for the last thirty seconds), and slid into his mind. The only way to destroy this poor excuse of an Empire is to turn all Sith against each other. They are foolish, as you are, they do not understand this will be their death. All survivors will be killed, and if they survive that, they will be killed again. It is the way things should be.
Jarai didn't believe for one second he had deleted all other coordinates to Venta's tomb. It was too unbelievable. This guy really was a jerk. Her mind worked constantly, exploring all kinds of possiblilities. To have all coordinates erased... to state that...
Jarai had to laugh. That was all there was to it. A short, mad laugh that made everyone believe, 'Oh crap, she knows something I don't.'
"You say you are not foolish because of your background, boy. Backgrounds matter not, it is who you are and how you play a devil's game. Now, as much as I'd like to chit chat with you all day, I have better things to attend to."

Post by Darth Mere on Aug 25, 2008 14:49:59 GMT -7
Jarai Telo and Darth Wodahs...They were two people Darth Mere definitely wanted to fight someday. But not today, he opened his eyes and stared at them openly. Since Jarai gave him the order not to fight, he wouldn't fight. He wouldn't even act as though he was ready to fight. He wouldn't even try to prepare for a fight.
Darth Mere stood up as they began to insult each other, and Wodahs began to justify his words and actions. He rolled his eye and moved toward the door they stood in front of, yawning out of bordome. To be perfectly honest, he didn't want to piss of Jarai Telo at the moment. His mind protection wasn't that great, and he wasn't ready to fight her without getting his memories blown to shreds. He was a powerful ally, but Jarai was a Sith, and all Sith worked independently in their heart of hearts, which meant she'd have no problem disposing of him.
As for Wodahs comments, they were beginning to piss him off. Claiming that he was faster than them all, and could kill them in an instant. This aggravated him to no end. The final straw that broke the Bantha's back was placed when he called Mere a pet. His tongue flicked over his lips and he stood up, keeping his temper down and supressing his urgence to attack.
He stopped right next to Wodahs and Jarai, looking up for a moment between the two. Then he spat at both him, "Move you conceited wretched being." He reached for the door.

No no...you are not...."--he chuckles lightly...alsmost..pleasently--"you have passed all test my dear, Jarai...all of them.."--he finaly slides the gleaming black vibro blade into it's shith upon his back--"Remeber what i have said to you this day...the only test you failed was one you pointed out in me...arrogance...oh..one last thing...."--he grabs hold of her, pull's her very close, there bodies pressed against one another's, and once again he chuckle's before kissing her ful on the lip's..long lingering..and the in a flash he is gone, leaveing her suddenly without support.
Appearing far down the hall his mask in place once again he is chuckling, and looking at Jarai..before vanishing again..he presence so subdued, he felt like any other person..those who could not use the force.

He still continued to talk. What an outragingly annoying fool. He was saying something about tests, but Mere was walking up. In his presence, she could feel the tendrils of hot rage. He didn't like Wodahs. Good, neither did she.
Though something screamed "DENIAL" in the back of her mind at the conclusion. His face was gorgeous, but his attitude was nerve grating. And the fact she had to visit with him again to gain the coordinates to Venta's tomb made her want to rip his throat out. However, she had a twinge of fear she wouldn't be able to cross the short distance between her side to his throat before he reacted. He was fast, she'd give him that. And the face.
She nodded at Mere in a form of respect, giving the encouragement to leave as quickly as possible. Wodahs wasn't something to get robes in a know for, even though he had her pretty much twisted up.
"oh..one last thing...."
Jarai almost groaned. No, just go away, for the love of all the Lords of--
Her very thought was interrupted. It had frozen up. He had yanked and tucked her in close to his body; pinning her to him in the element of surprise and using physical attractions to his advantage, whether he knew them or not. His face leered over hers as she made eye contact, trying to put on a show of defiance through the sudden pulse of her heart. When he chuckled, the breath swathed over her lips. He dipped forward, slipping their lips into a lock. Jarai's eyes shut and her fingers curled against his shoulders. Slowly, the arms started to go up, set on wrapping themselves around his neck.
They never made it. Wodahs vanished, leaving Jarai to stumble slightly in attempt to regain her balance. She found a wall and leaned against it, finding her breath. She was a bit shaken. How DARE he? That was just cruelty to the highest degree. It angered her while upsetting her.
Dammit, why?
She wiped her mouth with the sleeve of her cloak, but still felt his lips there. Jarai stood on her own two feet, gave a little cough, and walked out, heading the opposite way from the direction Wodahs had taken.
She was going to that cantina.
