Aldar wears only a pair of boots, the typical brown boots worn by most Jedi who adhere to the Jedi Robes as their sole form of clothing. Other than the boots he wears beige pants that are very similar to those worn by again Jedi who wear the Robes. The pants are situated low on his waiste and are not particularly clingy, actually they are rather airy. Aldar believes that clingy clothing restrains movement. He also wears a utiliy belt that carries his equiptment. Aldar choses to wear what is seen as little clothing not because he is flaunting himself or because he is an exhibitionist, but because he strongly adheres to most of the ideals of the old Jedi Order, namely in this case the one about not being attached to belongings. Personality: Due to Aldar's military up bringing he is a respectful young man. He has a good understanding of the chain of command and is obedient to it, yet he finds himself on odds with the teachings of the current Sith counter-parts of the Order. His Master also taught him strictly in Clone Wars era, Jedi ideology so he adheres strongly to them and finds them very easy to let his life be guided by these principals. He looks at the others in the Order as being lacks with their principals especially the new "anything goes" ideology of the Sith. His adherence to the non-attachment and many other pieces of his ideology is looked upon by others in the Order as odd or out of step and out-dated with the new Order, but he still holds to them dearly.
Also while his facial expressions may hide his feelings he has very expressive eyes that his emotions can be read through. Aldar also holds a strong distrust towards the Sith because of what they did to his homeworld.
History: Aldar grew up on the Inner Rim planet of Iseno. Like most on Iseno he was of a strict and proud military lineage. He from a very young age was raised very strictly. His parents were both high-ranking officials in the Iseno military and fought in the conflicts with the Sith. Thankfully Iseno was avoided for an unknown reason a by the Sith during the wars, but that does not mean it was left unscathed. Many of the high-ranking government officials were killed in terrorist acts committed by citizens who had "allied" themselves with the Sith. This left Iseno unorganized. The fact that much of the populace was in the military meant that Iseno was still left rather peaceful even with the destruction of their government. Though it was not without its skirmished; the same terrorist group that attacked the government fought fiercely to throw the Isenoians into array, but to no avail. Once the Sith decided their "allies" were not longer needed they were eliminated.
This left much of Aldar's childhood environment in a very rocky state, but within the household he was held to a strict standard and if he fell below that standard the punishments he received were unusual and very laborious, yet not abusive. His parents found of his affinity to the Force when he moved objects without touching them. Sorrowfully, yet happily because he would be far from the disorder of Iseno, Aldar's parents gave him to the Jedi Order for training.
When he arrived at the Jedi Temple Aldar was at the young age of four, but had the maturity of someone much older than him because of his strict up bringing. He received his training lightsaber and started Youngling training almost immediately. Within nine years at the age of thirteen, a standard for Padawans, he was taken as a Padawan to one of the very few Masters left from the old Order. His Master built upon the strong roots his parents already instilled in him and taught him strictly in the old Order ideology. The ideology he was taught dated back before the Order immediately before the currently established one, but more like the ideology of the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars. This was because his Master was a Draethos and had lived many centuries and had that ideology instilled within him.
Aldar's Master was lucky in that fact that each time turmoil came to the Galaxy and the Order was destroyed he had the uncanny ability to go into hiding and ride out the conflict until a new Order was established and he then would join the newly established Order. This was done for a while until one fateful day, it was at that time that Aldar and his Master were on a mission to the planet Nal Hutta. The mission was very simple the two were to retrieve plans that the Hutts had to expand their territory beyond Hutt Space. The mission went as planned and with nearly no skirmishes with the Hutts mercs until the two were about to board the ship they were to be taken back to the Temple on. As they walked into the clearing where their ship was suddenly about two-dozen mercenaries jumped out of the surrounding swampy woodland.
Both Aldar and his Master fayed well at the beginning of the battle but as it waged the two started to become very tired. In fear that the mission would be lost the Draethos handed Aldar the plans and almost instantly after handing them over he was struck in the head with a blaster bolt. Then the chest, and then the leg, and the chest again. Aldar watched in horror as his Master was killed. He quickly boarded the ship and closed the ramp. Using what knowledge he had he piloted the ship off planet.
He did not make it far before, because of his poor piloting skills at the time he crash landed on the planets Nar Hekka, much to his dismay a Hutt controlled planet. Though the Force was on his side, the planet was a cold planet that was much to cold for the Hutts so they erected large buildings that they dare not venture from too often. As he was going down he managed to get a few distress signals off to the Temple. Though the Jedi Order wouldn't respond for a few months, and when they did they found a freezing and sickly looking eighteen year old who had fayed death in several occasions.
Upon reaching the Temple he went through the Knighthood and became a Jedi Knight. The Council had decided to make him a Jedi Knight because even before that fateful mission he had proved to be resourceful, but that mission with all of the feats he had to over-come proved that he was ready to become a Jedi Knight. Roughly a year later he had recovered from this event and is looking towards the future. After returning to the Temple he trained extensivly in piloting so that a repeat accident would not happen again.
