Character Information
Name: Theseus Corvin
Nickname/Alias: None.
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Species: Human with Morganian ancestry.
Homeworld: Coruscant.
Force Sensitive: Yes.
Body Information
Clothing Outline:
Theseus’s taste in clothing is much less flashy than that of many of his fellow Sith – it tends to get torn up by his fighting anyways, so he accords very little importance to it. He usually adorns loose black robes that allow him freedom of movement and a white shirt under it. His pants are of the same tone, and he usually wears sturdy black military-issue boots to complete the ensemble. He’d been known to dress up for ceremonial occasions whenever he felt like it, but it is a rare event. He wears bandanas of various colours on occasion.
Face Outline:
His facial traits are strong and masculine, but the high cheekbones and sharper features betray the Morganian blood running through his blood. His ears are slightly more pointed than a pure human’s would be, but it is a detail that is only noticeable from close. His hair is long and of reddish, almost crimson colouring. He usually wears it tied behind his head in a ponytail to prevent it from getting in his face while fighting. His eyes seem red-brown when only glanced at, but closer inspection will reveal they are a shade of deep crimson that, strangely enough, is entirely natural and not a distortion caused by the Dark Side. There are Sith ritual tattoos above both of his eyebrows.
Body Outline:
Most of his body is covered in scars from his late Master’s harsher training methods and later the fights he picked everywhere he wandered. Most of them were only slight wounds and as such have faded, but some of his closer flirts with death have earned him more visible marks. Tall, athletic and muscled, his body is well oiled machinery he keeps running perfectly with constant exercise and practice. Capable of unleashing a surprising degree of brutality with his strength alone, combined with the speed that has been honed through years of practice it makes him a deadly fighter even without any weaponry or use of the Force. His chest is decorated with Sith ritual tattoos of a design similar to those on his face, all of them earned in battle.

With the Evolve:No, but would require very little prodding to join if approached.
Personality:
What is perhaps Theseus’s most obvious personality trait is his unparalleled love of fighting – he lives for the thrill of pitting his strength against that of others and all other things take a back seat to it. He will not hesitate even a second to scrap a mission in order to duel an opponent he finds interesting and cares very little for the consequences of his actions. However it isn’t killing per se that he likes: it is the duel itself, and he will spare opponents he thinks can grow stronger so that he can fight them again later. Theseus will usually leave a scar or a mark of some sort in such cases, to motivate his victims to better themselves. Against weaker adversaries, he has been known to handicap himself in order to enjoy the combat more.
He doesn’t care for much else than fighting, and as such he is highly unpredictable when it comes to everything else – he will act according to his whims and his mood of the hour. Things that make him laugh one day could make him unsheathe his sword the next, a disposition that has earned him respect mixed with a healthy amount of fear amongst the Sith. He dislikes the very concept of authority and has been known to refuse to comply with orders he didn’t like - or do the very contrary of what he was instructed to, purely to antagonize his superiors. He accords very little value to his life or those or others, and doesn’t mind dying as long as he does so with a sword in his hands, killed by someone who was stronger than him. It is in his nature to always seek stronger challenges whenever he overcomes one, and that is one of the main reasons he has been travelling for the last four years – he has been wandering without an actual destination, resorting to bounty hunting whenever he runs out of money and only returning to the Sith Academy occasionally.
He rarely uses Force powers in battle and whenever he does it is without the subtlety and finesse of some of his fellow Sith – he wields it like on would wield a hammer, brutally but efficiently. He has never built a lightsaber, disliking the advantage it confers and mainly uses a Sith Training Saber whenever he duels – the weapon is not cutting and as such allows him to batter his opponents into submission with inferior armament. Relying almost entirely on instinct whenever he fights, he dislikes having to think during duels but is a clever tactician whenever it is necessary and thinks extremely well on his feet.
History:
Born in the lower levels of Coruscant to a horse and a nameless client, Theseus remembers very little from his earlier years – the only memories he has of his mother are a vague impression of a tall and slender woman with crimson hair, which has led him to assume he has inherited his Morganian blood from her side. Strongly Force-sensitive and displaying precognitive abilities from an early age, he stumbled into a Jedi Knight when he was four years old. When the Knight approached his mother about taking him into the Order, his mother was traumatically – well, mainly to him - eager to get rid of him, as his birth had been an undesired event and taking care of him was a bother in her line of work. More or less sold for a handful of credits, the young child was taken to the Coruscant Temple but his few years in the harsh lower levels left a mark in his mind. The necessity of fighting for what you wanted was imprinted in his very soul, and his mother’s careless disposal of him planted the first seeds of his future mistrust of authority.
Theseus, as he had been brought in by a Jedi Knight, was assumed to be headed for the path of a Jedi but his teachers were disabused of this notion before he even reached six years old – he showed prodigious potential in the use of the lightsaber and delighted far too much in its use to ever be a peacekeeper or a diplomat. The subtler uses of the Force were lost on him even at a young age: while he had the raw power, he lacked the philosophical musings and deeper understanding that were required for such a path. Deploring the loss of such potential but nonetheless seeing the necessity of the act, the Jedi relinquished him to the Sith part of the Order. The philosophy of constant conflict struck a chord with the child and he thrived amongst the apprentices, quickly establishing himself as the most talented lightsaber student of his age group. At the age of nine he was taken under the wing of an old Sith Lord named Darth Exuro as his official apprentice. The old man was a harsh but talented teacher and Theseus soaked his lessons like a sponge, throwing himself almost obsessively into learning the different forms. Their relationship was often conflicted – Theseus was headstrong and often shot his mouth off while Exuro had very little patience for anything – but after a while something like affection came between them. Gradually growing into his role as a Sith and becoming even more enamoured with combat as it happened – branching out from the lightsaber, he developed an interest in a broader range of weaponry.
His Master was getting old, however, and by the time Theseus had reached eighteen he was barely a shell of what he once had been, consumed by both his age and the Dark Side. Realizing that his time had come, Exuro asked of his apprentice a final duel – with mortal blades. After a heated battle that cost him a few scars, Theseus sent his Master back to the Force and ascended to the status of Sith Lord. Declining to take the title of Darth, he kept his birth name and left the Temple soon afterwards, entering in a journey that would last four years. Wandering around in search of opponents and ways to test and further his skills, he finally came back to the Temple recently, unaware of the emergence of Evolve and the similar whispers of unease coming from the Jedi.
